Installation and commissioning of SAG Mill and Ball Mill

CMI Technical Services was specifically brought in to provide 3rd party advice and consultation services for the installation of a 7.9m x 5.3m SAG Mill and a Ball Mill of 6.2m x 9.5m dimension. The EPCM quickly realized CMI's experience which lead to CMI having considerably more involvement with the installation and commissioning. Services expanded to providing alignment and vibration analysis for mill driveline, process pumps and other areas during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.

CMI also provided torqueing equipment to ensure liner bolts remained at the required torque amounts. Our relationship with other specialist service providers was also called upon to assist with procuring critical fastener measurement equipment and training supply.
